Art of Yoga - Optimal Health and Wellness through yoga, fitness, and nutrition

After my Father suffered his second heart attack and had to get quadruple bypass surgery it encouraged me to become more conscious of my health.  I  realized at an early age how important good nutrition, and exercise was.
After my third child. I began doing Yoga.  I felt so good afterwards, mentally and physically. I had more patience, and was surprised to see how tone my muscles had become with such an easy, non strenuous work out. I had also suffered from chronic migraines, carpel tunnel, and arthritis.  My Yoga practice began to alleviate my headaches and the pain and stiffness in my wrist began to diminish. It was then that I realized the secret to this miraculous ancient exercise that had been around for many decades. I felt like I really discovered something so I decided I wanted to learn more and share it with others.
I got my certification through the YogaFit/ Yoga Alliance and began teaching Vinyasa Flow Classes at North Ga. Dance and Music in Hoschton. I continue to add to my certifications whenever I can. Adding Aerial Yoga and Kids Yoga. Yoga has given me this self awareness and confidence in myself that has allowed me to realize my dreams and pursue them. I became part of a performing Aerial Troupe in Atlanta called "Liquid Sky" I have become a certified Traditional Chinese Herbalist and am also certified with the ISSA for Fitness Nutrition.  I have taught Kids Yoga at Gum Springs Elementary, and Elite Academy. Senior Yoga at The Oaks of Braselton, Fitness Classes at "Be-Fit" and remain at North Ga. Dance and Music where I offer Yoga for all ages, Fitness and Aerial Silks.

What started out as an exercise  has  become a lifestyle.  I feel so completely Blessed that I am able to do what I love as a career. Yoga  brings me peace and balance with in my life and allows me to help others.
Yoga inspires me to grow, to share, to love, to live, to respect, and to acknowledge this remarkable path that continues to give.
