Yoga inspires me, it empowers me, it takes me on a journey of self discovery and endless possibilities.
I
began doing Yoga after my third child less than 3 years ago. The
results and benefits I received from doing Yoga inspired me to teach and
share this beautiful art with others. Along the way I have also been able to realize a life long dream of dancing on silk suspension. I took several private classes to get me started and now I just enjoy practicing whenever I can. Yoga has given me the upper body strength and flexibility necessary to do this. Yoga and the Silks are my truest passions and greatest enjoyments in Life besides my Children. I feel so completely Blessed that I am able to do both as a career.
In the past year of teaching I have fully embraced yoga not just as an exercise but a
lifestyle.
It brings me peace and balance with in my life and allows
me to help others. Including my children. Seeing them mimic my poses
and having fun with it while reaping the many benefits yoga has to offer
lead me to teach children's Yoga as well.
I like to use this analogy to explain your journey with Yoga. Like a newly planted tree In the beginning may be weak, and unstable. But as this tree grows it begins physically rooting itself into the Earth. Grounding itself. Becoming stronger. The limbs becoming more flexible, ableling to withstand the sways of
the wind. Becoming more balanced, and engaged. Withstanding the weather, not
allowing any storms to knock it down. As this tree gains strength it
also gains knowledge, everyday growing, absorbing, and blooming.
Yoga
inspires me to grow, to share, to love, to live, to respect, and to
acknowledge this remarkable path that continues to give.
